Our school excursion services cater to primary and secondary school groups and teachers in developing interesting and fun itineraries to suit your school curriculum, needs and budget. We are happy to help at any level, from simple coach hire to the complete organisation and running of a tour: booking attractions, accommodation, meals, commentary and even risk assessments.

Our commitment to making things stress free for both teachers and drivers means the “MEGABUS” is designed specifically to be both luxurious but also functional, easy to maintain and clean. To enhance your experience, where possible, “MEGABUS” even has wireless internet available to teachers.

Our greatest assets however, are our drivers and they have the knowledge, skills and attitude to ensure the smooth running of a trip. All our drivers are authorised by the NSW Ministry of Transport and have had “Working with children” background checks performed.

Canberra

The nation’s capital, Canberra is one of Glenorie Educational Excursions for School’s most popular organised tour. Visit iconic sights such as Parliament House, Questacon, The War Memorial and learn all about our nation’s development.

Most schools are eligible for PACER, a government funded rebate to assist in the visit to our nation’s capital. We organise many tours for interstate schools including Western Australian schools and Queensland schools by organising flights into either Sydney or Canberra, coach transport, accommodation and all attractions.

 

Central West including Bathurst & Hill End

The Gold Rush played an important part in the history and development of Australia and where better to learn about it than in the heart of where it actually happened. Bathurst is home to the Bathurst Goldfields, a re-creation gold town only 3 hours drive west of Sydney.

For the adventurous a trip to the historic ghost town of Hill End is an additional 1.5 hours drive away. We currently organise accommodation in either the Bathurst Goldfields, Sheep & Cattle Drome, Goldpanner, Hill End Ranch or Hill End Lodge.

 

Snowy Mountains

Australia’s winter wonderland, the Snowy Mountains is Australia’s premier skifields. You can even add this ultimate alpine experience to your next Canberra school tour.

When travelling with Glenorie Coaches, you can be assured that your driver is fully trained and accredited to operate in snowy and dangerous conditions. We highly recommend all school to make use of the Ski Tube for the most convenient and safe trip into the mountains. Choose between Perisher, Blue Cow and Thredbo as our most popular destinations.

Newcastle and Central Coast

Just a short drive north of Sydney brings you to the beautiful Central Coast followed by NSW’s second largest city Newcastle. Home to pristine coastal environments, convict history and industrial history, Newcastle and the Central Coast is an easily accessible destination for schools.

It is home to multiple adventure, sport & recreation camps including Myuna Bay, Pt Wolstoncroft, Lake Macquarie Crusader Camps and the Great Aussie Bush Camp.

South Coast

Just a short drive south of Sydney brings you to the stunning South Coast and its amazing hinterland. A extremely scenic drive takes you down towards Wollongong, an industrial hub home to Australia’s largest steelworks and a major shipping port.

Further south takes you past iconic towns such as Kiama, famous for their blow hole, Berry and Nowra all the way down to Batemans Bay. Mogo, a heritage small town which was once a gold rush town is a popular alternative to the Central West tours and is also home to the unique Mogo Zoo.
